Who defines what is 'law'?

I was watching 'Homo Sapien' the documentary yesterday night and i saw this Homo Erectus (don't laugh, they may have invented the world's BBQ) drinking blood from their own kind, then the offered it to the Sapiens.

I'm sure all of you will go "EWWWW! THAT'S GROSS AND DIGUSTING!"

But have you thought about it, why something so perfectly natural to them seems so... wrong to you? So who defines what's is 'wrong' and what is 'right, you? me?

Since our point of view are mostly constructed during our childhood, so i'll start on on our parents or at least, the adult figures. But since we are a bunch of social creatures, we can assume we influenced each other, even if we don't know.

So I -> you -> someone else -> etc, this goes on for a while until someone decides, "Hey dammit, i like to do thing this way!". That my friend, is the Leader.

So finally we have a leader. Leader decides, for example, the sun goes around the earth is 'digusting and wrong'. Therefore, the 'leader' influences his society with his opinions and thought, and the whole society models after him, believing everything he says even if they have no freakign clue about what goes around what.

Martin Luther once said:

"There is talk of a new astrologer who wants to prove that the earth moves and goes around instead of the sky, the sun, the moon, just as if somebody were moving in a carriage or ship might hold that he was sitting still and at rest while the earth and the trees walked and moved. But that is how things are nowadays: when a man wishes to be clever he must needs invent something special, and the way he does it must needs be the best! The fool wants to turn the whole art of astronomy upside-down. However, as Holy Scripture tells us, so did Joshua bid the sun to stand still and not the earth."

So in the end, who really who defines what's correct and true? So if the leader say the sun goes around the earth. Does the sun, in this case, really goes around the earth as stated in the Holy scripture, is the scripture even accuarte. They never asked this question. Just because the leader says it's accurate and they believed it, without a doubt.

Are we following blindly or just too lazy to think about what we are brought up to believe in? Think about it.
