It's funny how life screws you when you least expects it

As we all know, life is a total bitch. She likes to see us puny mortals get caught up in her painting as her threads of destiny weaved nothing but death for us at the end. So while waiting she screws us with totally incomprehensible ‘accidents’ that only has 1 in 100 gazillion chance of happening.

Like today for example (or rather, everyday), I was praying and praying to whatever thought-entity to make me sick. Be it flu, cough, fever or heck, even arthritis! I know, how can I be that desperate to skip a few lesson in school? Trust me, during those weeks; it was worth the risk to be sick. But apparently, either that thought-entity ignored my prayers or Life is interfering again or probably both.

So those prayer didn’t work and I managed to survive the bloody Nazi-fied days of legal imprisonment aka school. And now lo and behold! Life decides to screw me once again and made me sick this week! What’s the big fishy deal about this week, you ask? It’s my exams week! I hate school but that doesn’t I want to skip exams, I know they are important. With my ultra super tingling sense, I can hear Life laughing away and pointing at me with her bony finger saying, “You’re Punk’d by Life, Bitch!”

And so, I can only blame either: My genetically blessed body for providing me with great immunity but bad timing (learn to co-ordinate better next time guys!) OR blame both Life and that certain thought-entity. I’d probably chose the latter. Now excuse me, I need to go eat some Panadol and get some sleep. What a bitch.
