Some people deserve to die, really.
Here's the situation. I was throwing out the rubbish down those chutes that every HDB has, you know those chutes where you pull open the latch and throw the bags down? Yah, so i was clearing the little piece of chili slices left over from my meal and flicking them into the chute to throw them away, since i've dump the plastic bag just now. I know i could have just save the bag and dump everything into it and throw it all together. But i forgot 'kay?
Anyway back to the flicking, i was flicking them into the chute and my stepdad caught me doing it. He asked, "Why don't you put them into the plastic bag and throw it altogether. I replied, "Cause i forgot and threw away the bag just now. Beside, it's not going to kill anyone if i flick them off like that. I then flick the last piece off and close the chute. But apparently, he doesn't want to let teh matter rest like that.
"But you could havde thrown them into the plastic bag and throw them altogether!" he repeated himself. I rolled my eyes discreetly and the sentence 'Are you deaf or what?! i just said the reason!' came to my mind. but obviously, i can't say that. I just continue to wash my bowl. "Can you promise that you will throw everything into the bag before tossing them?" i was about to reply before he cut my words, "cause it makes the stains on the chute's interior when it dries."
"Not all stains are made by chili, you know." I said innocently, then, surprise suprise, he flared up. "So you're saying you won't do it, is that it?" i stared in disbelief as this idiot is somehow able to extract "No, i won't do it." from "Not all stains are made by chili, you know."
This happened before, and he likes to twists my answer into something he'd imagine i'll do. For example, 'The bin isn't even full yet!' a rather an innocent response to "Can you clear the bin?" will be twisted into something like; 'Fuck you asshole, clear the fucking bin yourself'!
I mean, i just said since the bin wasn't even half full, why clear it? And he interprets it as 'Fuck you.'! So this situation happens all the time, i just said the usual thing to him: I'm not going to reply that question.
So he gets all pissed off and shouted the same phrases at me over and over agains, so i returned the favour by repeating MY answer over and over again. There's no way in hell that he's going to get what i mean. He just twist my answers to suit the opposite of his agenda.
Moral of the story: Don't talk too much to idiots. They can't understand you anyway.
