Last post before the end of 2006
Yes, it's the end of another year. I know i don't blog much nowadays but i have a fairly good reason, and it's because i seem to have lost my flare for writing. How weird right?
Anywho, 2006 wasn't that bad of a year for me. I mean, sure there were plenty fo hiccups along the way but it was alright. Hell, even my classmates are fun when they aren't busy being idiots. So, let's recap the top 5 most memorable events in '06.
1) Switching to a new class
I was devastated when i first saw the list that said i'm going to be in a new class. I'll miss my friends in N2 and i'll have to try to make new ones in N3. I felt like i had just lost my save file and i have to restart from scratch, so i was kinda bummed about it. I was sorta torn between being the 'Cold, Arrogant Bastard' and the 'Silly Doormat' since these new 'friends' will probably last 1 year at max.
No prizes for guessing which one i became.
2) Guide on How to deal with Strangers
I remember this one very well as it was written close to the Chinese New Year, when the inevitable happens to all of us. You're pretty sure they are blood-related to you but you're not sure who they are, thus the need for this dandy guide. Pity the colors are so... weird and messy.
3) Rants about Chinese
God, i swear i've never complained so much about a particular subject before. Besides have crappy teammates, the 'Bitch From Hell' teacher and her Nazi-fied ways are the main contributing drive to these entries. I'm pretty sure i have 3 entries per month or something on this subject. Oh! How could i forgot about the major guilt trip a certain teamate of mine sent me spinning into, it's pratically the climax of this whole Chinese Bitch saga.
4) School's 20th Anniversary dinner
Yeap, the ol' school is going to be torn down next year so we had this anniversary/farewell dinner for it. 6 people eating the food meant for 10 people and we sorta managed to finish it. With yours truly polishing off a whole plate of prawns, so i was dubbed thee 'Prawn Killer' who commited the atrocious 'Prawn Genocide' with his bare fingers.
5) My working life
Oh yes, it was fun working for the first time and earning money for my self. My first paycheck was $72.11! Yes! Magical numbers, but too bad 7211 didn't came out for toto, i was so bummed about that. Also i got my first working scar which kinda promted me to go into a spending spree and bought myself lots of things with my subsequent paychecks. Can't say i regretted spending it though.
