Guess i'll die another day?

Today i almost got killed, or at least severe head injuries. A bloody flowerpot fell right in front of me! Lucky there's a umm, lucky dollar coin in front of me that prevented me from stepping forward and possibly, to my doom.

You would have thought that all the nasty words that i've picked up will pratically spew forth like the merlion but no! I was not angry. Instead, all i had in my mind was:

"Guess i'll die another day then."

I know, I'm such a freak! I almost got terminated and i could think of was 'Guess i'll die another day' which is certainly, very non-human-ish. I think my assumption that i'm a 25th centuray android with human AI and bleeds red non-newtonic fluid is true.

I'm a damn android. With a close-to-death encounter. And a very lucky coin.

EDIT: I've just realized, there's a song by Madonna called "Die Another Day" xD!

That would so be my theme song from now on!

The new Pandora Box?

Everyone knows the story of Pandora's box. How she opens the damn box and released all manners of evil but left only Hope inside. Strangely, I had this musing in the shower, (I know, why do all the musing comes during the shower), I was thinking how this particular item fits the description of Pandora Box so perfectly! It has tones of bad stuffs in it, some good stuff and its remarkably similar resemblance to… a box.

Did you figure out what it is, no? Well, it is a laptop computer!

Spreading evil has never been this fast!

Think about it, it can create viruses, Trojans, spy ware, ad ware, mal ware and whatnots. Then there’s this tiny glimmer of Hope that is the computer games. Plethora amounts of games are fashioned from it and for it, together with moving pictures of great interest and playability. The laptop computer, or rather; all computers have spurred legions of a new class; the geeks and the nerds. These warriors of the new Pandora overwhelm the mere mortals with their unique computer and Internet lingo that only their own races can understand.

Then there is the evil in Pandora Box. I am willing to bet all my money that all of you has meet with all, or at least one of the vices at least once in your lifetime. It is like the bruises of a child learning how to walk, like the layer of fats on a glutton and the eventual pinching of food before dinnertime, all unavoidable.

But as much as the entire world hates them, I won’t elaborate much on it. I’m no Geek or Nerd cause I’m a Night Elf, so I can’t talk much about it. So I’ll just insert some random cool stuff that I ripped of from wikipedia to makes this paragraph look nice.

Thus, I conclude that Computers are the new Pandora Boxes and that we as humans and Night elves need to learn more computer lingo in case the Nerds are plotting against us. No, killing them is not an option.

Lots of happenings for the past few weeks.

My grandpa passed away on 8/10/06 and i weeped like some broken tap. I'm so emo, i know, but it felt really sucky to know he's gone when he was cremated especially when i wasn't there when he passed away.

Which reminds me, for the past three weeks, i've spent more money on taxi than i will in a year. Come to think of it, it's probably the largets amount i'll spend in any year. $45 on 7/10, $4.30 x 5 for the past five night i've spent on returning to Jurong from Boon lay on late nights.

As for today, i'm sick. I have a dry throat, stuffy/runny nose and the damn haze does not help! I used up 5 packs of tissue at school today, you heard right baby; 5 packs in 3 freaking hours! In addition, we had this whole Principals/student one-on-one time that everyone of us are scared off. I was so damn lucky[/sarcasm] to get the principal, she was a sweet lady with poodle hair and Hilary Duff-ish teeth. I swear, i can see my own reflection in it!

Thank God, my 'execution' was swift and painless. Unlikes the others, they died a pretty gruesome death and i got my class photo today. I got the lousy formal one, should have gotten the informal ones. Damn.

Look what i'm doing?

It's less than 1 month from the first O level exam and here i am, blogging when i promised myself that i'll be doing algebra sums.

What a great way to kick start the revision period dude. Bleah.
